"Joy In the Morning" Testimony

 

	She had enough, D.O. grabbed the bottle of bills and decided that she could not live life any longer. She was five months pregnant and had just discovered that she had been diagnosed with AIDS. Ashamed and alone, she had given up hope. Just as she started to open the bottle of pills, she heard a voice from the television program, "I know that you have doubt, but God wants to turn things around for you." Pastor Danette was preaching a message of hope through the "Joy In the Morning" program. "You don't know what I am going through," D.O., bellowed back at the televison. "God knows the medical report you have gotten, but He wants you to believe Him and not the doctors," Pastor Danette proclaimed, as if speaking right to D.O. In disbelief, D.O., tried to turn the television off. She was unable to and continued to find herself in coversation with Pastor Danette and the Holy Spirit through the teleivison program. "I want you to streach your hands toward the teleivison screen and believe God for your healing," Pastor Danette said in invitation to her viewers. With full surrender, D.O. stretched her hands toward the television to what God was going to do. She felt the power of God flow through her body. At her next check-up at the medical center, doctors stood in disbelief. D.O. was no longer HIV positive. Doctors sent her to several different centers, trying to figure out how her diagnosis had changed so suddenly. It was because of her miracle that one doctor admitted to D.O. that he had walked away from atheism and asked Jesus to come into his heart. Now full of hope, D.O. shares her testimony wherever she can. Her children have since gotten involved in the Joy Ministries mentoring programs, and the life of this entire family is being turned around!

 

		D.O. is just one of the many lives that have been changed through the "Joy In the Morning" program.
